Head of Digital Claims Technology
I lead digital claims technology globally, with engineering teams in Greece, India, and Mexico building the digital claims platforms people turn to on one of the hardest days of their lives, when a trip goes wrong, a phone breaks or an accident happens, and all they need is for it to work, simply and quickly, and to feel that someone is on their side. I own platform strategy, engineering delivery, production resilience, and modernization, and together we made incidents far rarer and put trained AI models to work deciding eligible claims end to end, all inside the controls a regulated industry demands.

Digital Claims Transformation Technical Lead
I built a global claims technology organization from zero, hiring across Greece, India, and Mexico and standing up engineering, site reliability, quality assurance, and process engineering. Along the way I put the domain in writing for the first time, with documentation, a shared delivery methodology, and an operating model, trained the regional teams, and led the modernization of our portal estate onto new cloud infrastructure.

During the pandemic I led engineering for regulated digital health products: an AI wellness coach supporting seriously ill patients through treatment, and an affordability platform helping patients in emerging markets get the medicines they were prescribed. I set the engineering standards and quality gates for our mobile platform, owned its releases, stayed hands-on in the code, and founded the company’s mobile development community of practice.

Senior Software Engineer, Data & Reporting Analytics
At a Swiss company, I led the engineering behind data and reporting platforms in C#, .NET, and SQL Server for public-transport operators across Switzerland, Germany, and Luxembourg. We designed the pipelines that brought raw feeds from trains, metros, buses, fleets, and sensors, each arriving in its own shape, into unified reporting structures, and we delivered capabilities for two of its products: OPAL, which operators use to measure, visualize, and prove the quality of their service, from punctuality to connections, and SIGMA, which counts passengers and extrapolates the numbers, with dashboards and reporting on top of both.

Full Stack Engineer, Mobile & Web
At a digital agency in Thessaloniki working for brands in Greece and abroad, I built mobile apps for iOS, Android, and Windows, for radio stations, news publishers, hotels, and other businesses, backed by a custom content management system that let each client change their app’s content and configuration on the fly, without resubmitting to the App Store or Google Play. Alongside the apps I built eCommerce stores integrated with our clients’ ERP systems, worked on SEO and on Google Ads campaigns, and spent part of that time on business development, bringing in new clients.

I grew up in restaurants and went on to run businesses of my own: a restaurant, a fast-food brand I designed myself, down to its name, and a seasonal beach bar. I was responsible for all of it: the concept, the values and the guests we were cooking for, where to open and the capital to launch, and menus that had to balance creativity, cost and what people actually wanted to eat. I set the budgets and the sales targets and kept payroll and labor costs in check, hired, trained and led the kitchen and floor teams myself, and kept a close eye on inventory, supplier agreements and the health, safety, hygiene and liquor licensing rules we had to meet every day. I also looked after how people saw us, through marketing and promotion, talking with guests, reading the reviews and resolving complaints myself.
